First look at Jamie Dornan in character poster for Heart of Stone

The actor takes on one of the main roles alongside Gal Gadot in the upcoming Netflix action film.

Jamie Dornan is set to take on one of the main roles alongside Gal Gadot in upcoming Netflix actioner Heart of Stone – and now RadioTimes.com can exclusively reveal an official poster featuring the actor.

The image shows Dornan in character as Parker, the head of an MI6 team on which Gadot's character Stone finds herself working.

The official description of Parker describes him as "charming, funny, and brave" while stressing that he "is fiercely protective of his team and focused on the success of their mission".

Meanwhile, Dornan himself said that he enjoyed "bringing out the soul" of the character and added that he was enticed by the "epic scale" of the globe-trotting film.

The official synopsis for Heart of Stone reads: "Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot) appears to be an inexperienced tech, on an elite MI6 unit headed up by lead agent Parker (Jamie Dornan).

"What her MI6 team doesn't know is that Stone actually works for the Charter – a covert peacekeeping organisation, secret even from other spies, which uses cutting-edge technology to neutralise global threats."

It continues: "Rachel has been trained to be the consummate professional: a phenomenal field agent who sticks to the mission, follows the numbers and trusts no one.

"When a routine mission is derailed by mysterious hacker Keya Dhawan (Alia Bhatt), Rachel's two lives collide. As she races to protect the Charter and strives to beat the odds, her humanity might just be her biggest asset."

Jamie Dornan looked in good spirits as he attended a HAIM concert alongside his wife Amelia Warner at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on Thursday.

The actor, 41, cut a casual figure for the evening as he sported a grey shirt which he wore over a black T-shirt and matching trousers.

Music composer Amelia, 41, opted for a sleeveless white top which she wore with a pair of matching jeans. 

Jamie's partner proved she is a big fan of the three-piece rock band as she was seen throwing her hands in the air and dancing during their performance. 

Amelia is a former actress-turned musician, born on June 4, 1982 in Merseyside as the only child of acting duo Annette Ekblom and Alun Lewis.
